I have to disagree with those who think that computer games are a waste of time… CG are awesome!!! Off course, not all computer games are the same (you have educational CG, action CG, mistery CG, combat CG, and so on) and you have to know how do you intend to use them. I can still remember the very first computer game I became addicted to: Duke Nukem 3D

I loved this game since the very beginning… It was love at first sight
I always played it in “piece of cake” mode and I managed to get myself to the final level… Without the passwords!!!! After I completed the game, a friend of mine gave me the passwords… A little bit late
I miss that game so much
(I have not been able to find a DN3D version for XP, if you know where to find it please tell me..!) There was another CG I loved a lot: Mortal Kombat….!!!
After DN3D there was a long period in which I did not play any type of game… Until I found The Sims 2

I totally love this game!!!!!!!!!!!! I get glued to the computer when playing it..!! My mom treathened me saying that she was going to uninstall the game if I didn’t stop playing it, but she doesn’t know how
Why these computer games have not been a waste of time? (at least for me) Because I’ve learnt from them…! I have the Italian version of the sims 2 and it is amazing how many new words and expressions you can learn… You should see the amazing houses that my sister build using the sims 2… I think she should be an architec…! From DN3D??? Well, swear words
Besides, playing those games didn’t do me any wrong: I’m a translation/interpretation student, I’m about to get my degree, I’m an Italian teacher, and contrary to what oppositors to CG say, I’m not a violent person
